Country music legend Jeannie Seely died Friday, August 1, at the age of 85.
On Friday, August 1, Jeannie Seely’s publicist, Don Murry Grubbs, told The Tennessean that the country legend had passed away. She had just turned 85 on July
5.
Following Seely’s death on Friday, her publicist revealed that the singer had died at Summit Medical Center in Hermitage, Tennessee, after several months of health issues.
